Hi Gavin & all,
I've been using discourse analysis to examine public hearings & more recently inter-governmental hearings on environmental controversies (attached). I'd also be curious to know of other folks using DA & related approaches to study environmental concerns.

Subject: discourse analysis in ecolinguistics
Hello everyone,
First off, I just want to say I've very much enjoyed following the work being done in this research community.
I'm writing because I am wondering of any studies you might know of that draw on discourse analytic approaches to interaction under the umbrella of, or related to the field of ecolinguistics. I've found fascinating critical discourse analytic work being done in ecolinguistics but am having a bit more trouble locating research, especially in sociolinguistics and linguistic anthropology, that explores face-to-face interaction in contexts such as everyday conversation, interviews, social media or other interactional contexts which draw on or acknowledge research in ecolinguistics.
Other research you would locate in the field of ecolinguistics exploring the language-culture-nature connection in interaction, for example as it relates to cultural management of resources or community health care would also be welcome.
Thank you in advance,
Gavin
