**********************************************************************
Posters are an important part of UbiComp/ISWC 2015 program. They
provide researchers with an opportunity to present their latest,
cutting-edge research. Posters can cover preliminary or exploratory
work within the field of ubiquitous and pervasive computing, report
about smaller projects or results that are still maturing towards a
full paper submission, or present any other research that would
encourage discussion.
**Deadlines**
May 29, 2015: Submission deadline
June 19, 2015: Notification of acceptance
July 3, 2015: Camera Ready Extended Abstract Due
**Submission**
The UbiComp/ISWC 2015 poster papers are 4 pages (including all figures
and references) in extended abstract using the SIGCHI Extended
Abstracts template (Word, LaTeX). The review process will be single
blind and submissions must *NOT* be anonymized! Poster papers should
be submitted electronically through the UbiComp Online Submission
System (PCS). All accepted submissions will be included in
UbiComp/ISWC 2015 Adjunct Proceedings and in the ACM Digital Library.
UbiComp and ISWC will have separated adjunct proceedings, and authors
have to choose "Poster for UbiComp" or "Poster for ISWC" in Type of
Submission on the PCS. Note that all papers go to the same review
process and the difference is only proceedings the accepted paper will
be on. Please make sure that your submitted abstract complies with all
the formatting guidelines and is ready for publication, since there
will be no time to make major revisions.
UbiComp/ISWC 2015 poster submissions should include:
A 4-page extended abstract (for details about template and submission
see the “Submission” section above). The abstract should describe the
research ideas or results that will be presented at the conference and
it should discuss the novelty and distinguishing ideas or approaches
that it brings to the Ubiquitous Computing and ISWC community. The
abstract should be self-contained, i.e., it must be understandable
even without seeing the poster.
