Subject: Glucose measurements
Dear all,
I have been asked by our A&E department to source a method of glucose determination that would be suitable in a hyperbaric environment (see query below). Anyone any ideas?
Many thanks in advance, Elaine

I would appreciate any information that you may have access to regarding point of care blood glucose measurement devices which have been calibrated/tested/validated for use in an hyperbaric environment.
The concern with standard devices is the integrity of the LCD screens, the soft rubber buttons (which have small air pockets behind them) and the potential effects on the chemistry of the analysis.
Thank you for your help.
Kind regards
Roland
