Dear all,
I am currently conducting a research for my MSc degree in Information Management at the University of Glasgow. I am looking into the question of archiving ‘secondary’ online activity of distinguished individuals in social media, i.e. re-posts, re-tweets, likes, comments etc. (as opposed to ‘primary’ such as posts, tweets, statuses.) This research focuses on theory, as well as questions of authenticity and copyright.
The research is conducted by a short questionnaire consisting of 7 questions seeking your personal/professional opinions on the matter.
So if you are an information professional (archivist, records manager, or a distinguished individual yourself; does not matter if your work involves archiving social media or not) and have 10 minutes to spare, please send me an email stating your willingness to participate. I will then forward to you an information letter describing the research in more detail, the questionnaire and an ethics consent form.
Any information collected about you during the course of this research will be kept strictly confidential. Completed questionnaires will be anonymised.
Thank you! Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Kindest Regards,
Marina
