NIHR MSc Studentships in Medical Statistics
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
Two remaining National Institute for Health Research (NIHR; http://www.nihr.ac.uk/) funded studentships are available for the 2015/16 academic year. These studentships have been made available with the aim of building research capacity in medical statistics, and will be targeted towards students who are planning to go on to work in areas of benefit to the National Health Service.
The second and final deadline for applications is in June. Early application is recommended.
The competition for these studentships is high, and applicants are strongly encouraged to seek alternative funding should their application be unsuccessful.
Award & Eligibility
The studentships are open to UK and EU applicants only and cover all course fees as well as providing a tax free living allowance. The 2015/16 stipend rate has not yet been confirmed. In 2014/15 the stipend rate was £15,863 PA.

Students wishing to apply for an NIHR studentship should apply to study for the MSc in Medical Statistics (http://www.lshtm.ac.uk/study/masters/msms.html) by the funding deadline. All eligible applications will be considered for this funding.
