I doubt that removing and re-adding them to a group will have any
effect. Can you be more explicit about what you mean by admin status?
Do you mean a WebPA Administrator or just a teacher? Are they logging
in directly to WebPA or using the LTI connector? Which version of WebPA
are you using?
