Only 1 week to go until the deadline for submitting an abstract to the  RAPID US-AMOC International Science Meeting 2015.
The abstract submission deadline  is Monday 27 April, and abstracts can be submitted via the submission form on the meeting website at http://www.rapid.ac.uk/ic15/

There is NO FEE  involved for either abstract submission or for attending the meeting, which will be held in Bristol, U.K. 21-24 July 2015

The meeting topic is "Towards a holistic picture of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation via observation modelling and synthesis".  This is addressed through 4 science themes:

1. Characterising the AMOC - structure, variability, mechanisms and ocean response

2. Impacts of the AMOC on the atmosphere, cryosphere, and land

3. AMOC state estimation, predictability and prediction

4. Novel approaches to pan-Atlantic observations, modelling, analysis and synthesis
