The 2nd International Conference of Dalcroze Studies

The peer review process is over and the timetable is being drafted.
Following a significant increase in submissions, we are delighted to announce that the 2015 conference will showcase:
• 5 keynote and guest speakers
• 52 papers
• 15 workshops
• 7 combined papers & workshops
• 2 symposia
The conference also offers
• 3 ‘Getting Started in Dalcroze Studies Research’ seminars, for which teaching staff in Higher Education in the EU can apply for Erasmus+ STT funding
• An evening concert with contributions from around the world and featuring our guest artist Hilde Kappes
• A ceremony, performance and party to celebrate the unveiling of a memorial plaque on the house where Émile Jaques-Dalcroze was born in Vienna, in 1865
• An excursion to Laxenburg Castle, the home of a successor to the Bildungsanstalt Jaques-Dalcroze, Hellerau, Germany
