Dear all,
we have extended the application deadline for the 594. Wilhelm and Else
Heraeus-Seminar "Spectroscopy and applications of cold molecular ions”,
which will be held at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef/Germany from June
15th to 18th, 2015.
Applications will be accepted until April 15th through the following
link, where you can find more information about the seminar:
http://www.quantummetrology.de/quest/heraeus-home.html
The seminar will explore recent developments in cooling, internal state
control, detection, and spectroscopy of molecular ions in the context of
exciting applications. Such applications range from precision
spectroscopy and tests of fundamental physics over chemical reactions of
cold molecules and the formation of molecular clusters, all the way to
molecules in interstellar space as probes for their environment.
The topics covered at the workshop include:
- Novel experimental techniques
- High resolution spectroscopy and tests of fundamental physics
- Hybrid systems
- Interstellar molecules
- Large molecules and clusters
- Cold chemistry
For the list of invited speakers see:
http://www.quantummetrology.de/quest/heraeus-invited-speakers.html
There will be no conference fee. Board and lodging will be generously
funded by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.
Hope to see you in Bad Honnef in June!
Best regards,
Roland Wester and Piet Schmidt
