Registration is now open for the 25th Annual Screen Studies Conference, which will take place at the University of Glasgow this summer.
The plenary theme this year is 'Screening Animals and the Inhuman'. Chiming with the increasing interest in the representation and agency of animals and non-human others in film, television and other audio-visual texts, the organisers invited papers that address questions, representations and the performativity of the animal and of the 'inhuman' on and with screen based media.
The keynote speakers are Michael Lawrence (University of Sussex), Susan McHugh (University of New England) and Anat Pick (Queen Mary, University of London).
