Collection Manager
The Trustees of a renowned film collection wish to appoint a Collection Manager, to be based in Scotland but with some early stage work to be carried out in London.
Role and Responsibilities
· Day to day management of a renowned film collection
· Some cataloguing
· Liaising with Festivals, Museums and Exhibitions and arranging events
· Dealing with general enquiries
· Initial receipt of press and media queries for eventual handling by a Trustee
· Maintaining Facebook and Twitter presence
· More broadly, exploring appropriate use of the Collection’s assets to help achieve legacy and sustainability.
Remuneration
It is expected that the Collection Manager will not be a full time role and there will be considerable flexibility as to the way in which the role is performed. Accordingly, this is a self-employed post. The fee payable will be in the region of £20,000 annually.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held in Edinburgh.
