Keynote Speeches CHME Manchester 2015
Here is just a taste of the excellent Keynotes speeches at CHME Manchester, based on the conference theme - Hospitality: The Future is in Our Hands
Dr. Mark Jayne: “Reclaiming the night-time economy – the problem of alcohol related violence and disorder and the impact this is having on the Hospitality industry.”
Dr Maureen Brookes: “Examining hospitality research as a journey – from how to build a research profile to identifying future hospitality research opportunities and addressing the challenges faced.”
Professor J.S.Perry Hobson, PhD: "The future of hospitality is going to be about creating and shaping change through innovation. Whilst I would like to think that the "The Future is in Our Hands", the reality is that we also have to accept that many of the ideas that have been shaping our industry have actually come from people who were from outside the industry. We need to question why this might be, and whether we have a mind-set that is far too inward looking and operationally focused."
