Dear Pete,
Yes, as a bicycle historian I have published a critical overview in Volume 5 of Mobility in History (2014):
Oosterhuis, Harry (2014). Bicycle Research between Bicycle Policies and Bicycle Culture. Mobility in History. The Yearbook of the International Association for the History of Transport, Traffic and Mobility, 5, 20-36.
I can send you a PDF; let me know.
I also have a much longer draft which has not yet been published. Recently I have also written a review-article about bicycle histories.
Best,
Harry Oosterhuis

Subject: State of the Field reviews?
Hello,
Short Question: Has anyone/is anyone about to publish a literature review describing the state of the field in Cycling research? This includes non-english publications.
Three reasons:
First: I'm just doing corrections for my thesis, which includes needing to write a bit more about the current state of Cycling in Social Scientific research. I suspect that I've missed some new papers whilst I was writing up and not having a chance to come to Cycling and Society symposium. Yes I will be doing an online literature search, but I thought I'd see if there is anything that is in online early view or pre-publication that it won't be easy to find.
Second: Interested in suggestions for papers in non-English languages that describe the state of cycling in research and practice, even if I can't actually read them.
(I have a second, related question, but I'll put it a different thread for tidyness)
Pete
