Best wishes

Subject: Change of Convenors - BSA Alcohol Study Group
To: [log in to unmask]
Dear Study Group members,
It is my pleasure to announce that the BSA Alcohol Study Group has a new convenor, Dr Carol Emslie. Carol is a Senior Lecturer within the Institute for Applied Health Research and School of Life Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University and also leads the Substance Use and Misuse Research Group. She has been involved with the study group for a few years now and has attended many of our events. I’m happy to welcome Carol on board and look forward to working with her as we prepare for our next event (more news on that to follow in due course!).
This also means that another convenor, Prof Karl Spracklen will stand down. Karl has been involved with the group from its start and has acted as a convenor since July 2012. I’m sure you’ll all join me in thanking Karl for his contribution to the group.
Lastly, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me, Carol or Laura if you have anything you would like to bring to the attention of the study group. In particular, we can promote new publications by group members through our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Best wishes,
Tom
