The Centre for Musculoskeletal Research (specifically the Arthritis Research UK Centre for Epidemiology jointly with the Scleroderma Research Group) seeks a research statistician. You will work on a large dataset derived from an international observational study on the effect of different treatments on the multisystem connective tissue disease systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Your responsibilities will involve assessing data quality, preparing datasets for researchers, developing and defining comprehensive statistical analysis plans, performing statistical analyses and assisting with manuscript preparation and ensuring best practice in understanding and sharing datasets internally and with external collaborators. You should hold a good undergraduate degree in maths or statistics or in a relevant discipline with a substantial statistical component.
