Colleagues
A reminder that UKSG will be running an event on the 27th May in London supporting those of us (librarians, publishers and intermediaries) who are working with the Jisc-negotiated offsetting deals. As part of the seminar we will have Liam Earney talking through these offset principles and there will be plenty of opportunity for feedback and discussion.

Subject: Principles for Offset Agreements
Dear Colleagues
As you are aware, Jisc Collections has been negotiating with publisher for the introduction of offset systems, which will reduce the Total Cost of Publication for UK HEIs.
Today we have published Principles for Offset Agreements https://www.jisc-collections.ac.uk/Global/News%20files%20and%20docs/Principles-for-offset-agreements.pdf
We hope that these Principles will provide guidance to publishers introducing offset systems and to academic institutions in evaluating proposals for such systems.
