I am beginning to develop some courses for postgraduate online distance learners in both generic statistics and statistics within the health sciences. A great addition to these courses would be a guest lecture on bad practice and/or common misconceptions. I think students are more likely to respond to this if delivered by someone with a knack for covering these topics; and if the session is a little different from the other material which will mostly be delivered by the same tutor.
I anyone has any suggestions for colleagues who are good at speaking on these topics it would be good to hear from you. Or get in touch yourself if you feel passionate about this.
Thanks as always
Joanne Ingram
