Dear Matthew
I organised 2 Gregynog conferences, as I recall, one in 1998 with Hazel Walford Davies - see Programme above - and one in 2001 with Tony Curtis, which then got postponed at the last minute by Gregynog as the whole estate was apparently a graveyard for dying sheep - it was the middle of the foot-and-mouth crisis. See above the initial doomed 2001 programme - the second one for 2002 was identical - the Notice of Postponement, the 2nd advert, and the attendance list for 2002 - 73 attended, and it was in the end a very successful conference.
See you soon - hope all's well
Jane

Subject: [WS] AWWE conference archive
The Association for Welsh Writing in English is currently building up its conference archive: http://www.awwe.org/conference-archive.html
If you have any documents (electronic or hard copy) relating to the Association’s previous conferences, particularly those from 2006 and earlier, I would be very pleased to hear from you. We are especially interested in collecting documentation such as calls for papers, programmes, booking forms, and books of abstracts.
With many thanks,
Matthew Jarvis
