Following the announcement of the call for abstracts (deadline 15 March) for the World Conference on Transport Research (Shanghai, 10-15 July 2016), we would like to encourage submissions for a special session on Unplanned Passenger Rail Disruption. This includes understanding causes, patterns and trends, User, community and operator impacts, travel behaviours, perceptions and attitudes and approaches to management and mitigation. The special session is being chaired by Graham Currie and Jeremy Shires.

In the submission form please specify for Topic Area "G : Transport Planning and Policy" then session track "G6 Disaster Resilience in Transport". It should also indicate "special session on Unplanned Passenger Rail Disruption".
