Hello,
I have at least one and a chance of a second (if we get the best candidate) fully funded PhD studentship starting September 2015.
Both studentships are with myself and Dr Ross Hill (http://staffprofiles.bournemouth.ac.uk/display/rhill)
1. LEAP: Landscape Ecology and Primatology for research in Indonesia, is also with Serge Wich and Matthew Nowak as additional collaborators. The details of the project can be found here: http://intranetsp.bournemouth.ac.uk/documentsrep/FST%20Korstjens%20Amanda%20Project%20Description%20FINAL.pdf
2. Hopefully, by the start of next week, there should be a second PhD on hominin evolution and chimpanzee landscape use in Uganda (in collaboration with Prof Kevin Hunt) - it should appear on this page: https://research.bournemouth.ac.uk/pgr/funded-phd-studentships-in-the-faculty-of-science-and-technology-2015/
Or at least this one: https://research.bournemouth.ac.uk/postgraduate-research/?utm_source=guardian&utm_medium=print&utm_campaign=phd2014
Within the faculty of Science and Technology.
There is also an interesting project for people working on skeletons here: http://intranetsp.bournemouth.ac.uk/documentsrep/FST%20Schutkowski%20Holger%20-%20Project%20Description%20FINAL.pdf
BY the way - if you know a European PhD student who is interested in these topics and willing to write an EU Marie Curie intra-European fellowship application with us (we provide grant writing training and support) please also ask them to contact me.
Please pass it on.
Best wishes
Mandy
