Hi everyone,
We’ll be trialling a brand new format of live event on the evening of Sunday 15th March called ProblemAttic, in partnership with Hackney PictureHouse.
The idea is to invite researchers to present the problems they face in their work and ask the public to try and solve them, in an informal setting. Here's more about the format - http://www.britishscienceassociation.org/blog/problemattic-intro-blog
It’s a bit of an experiment so do come along if you’re interested in seeing public engagement in action! Details are below, and I'd really appreciate it if you'd spread the word amongst your networks…
ProblemAttic – Sunday 15th March, 6:30-9pm at Hackney Picture House – FREE
Sometimes, when trying to find answers to the really big questions, scientists can get stuck on the small stuff, whether that’s how to sample worms from the bottom of the sea floor or how to best visualise a storm vortex.
ProblemAttic is a chance for you to help scientists with their everyday challenges and to test your lateral thinking skills. Coders, designers, makers, problem-solvers - whatever your personal or professional interests - come along and flex your brain during this interactive evening of dilemmas, discussion and drinking.
