Hi Jiscers,
I have recently returned to the OH healthcare sector, and see that the pre placement checks specifically related to MMR are currently based on either
1. evidence of 2 x MMR vaccines, or
2. proven serological immunity to Measles and Rubella
What is the reason and justification for testing immunity to Measles and Rubella but not for Mumps in cases when status is unclear (i.e. no evidence of 2 x MMR vaccines) ?
Many thanks
Deborah Caspi
