Dear List,
My CRUMB discussion over the past month has exceeded expectations and I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the myriad of projects you have shared. I want to thank all of my invitees, the regular list contributors and also the 'lurkers' who have posted for the first time, all of whom have given of their time, experiences and insights so generously. I also want to extend my thanks to those who have not posted, but have shared in the discussion nonetheless by reading the threads and comments. I do hope the list has found this month as useful and interesting as I have.
As our month draws to a close, I am keen to let you know that you are very welcome to continue our dialogue for April if you so wish. In this spirit, I want to thank those who have posted in our final week:
Beryl for her post yesterday, I agree, we have had some invaluable insights into systems of production 'gained from the inside'. And I too am keen to learn more about any 'good models of trying to ensure good power balances'.
Olga for sharing the details of her project 'Age of Wonderland', a fascinating project that showcases an open, collaborative working lab model in practice.
Vicki, who articulates the extensive effort it takes to facilitate creative collaborations between the arts and other fields and shows how important it is to embed critical self reflective practices into our evolving processes and models of production, and develop documentary resources for others to access and utilise.
and Dave, who provides a first hand account of the realities of being part of a cross sector, interdisciplinary collaboration.
Our next CRUMB discussion will be hosted in May, further details to follow soon.
Happy Easter!
Suzy
