Hi Jim,
We still haven't heard from our colleague yet, but we've spoken with Digicel
and other NGOs, and the telecoms system has been damaged, but not destroyed.
Some NGOs have been in contact by sms/mobile with staff there (but it's
still pretty windy/noisy to properly communicate). I therefore think now
less urgency to get those sstcom contacts at least in Port Vila...what might
be useful however would be satcom contacts in outer islands which will take
longer to reach by Digicel...
Thanks for replying, and I think JiscMail does offer useful service in situations
such as this.
