Subject: Tin Ingot Merchants mark
I am trying to locate a tin or other ingot with the markings of Donnithorne
London around the outer edge with a central motif of the fleur de lys. I'm
inserting a low resolution image here and would be delighted to hear if
anyone knows where such an ingot may be found today. This mark was used on
56 lb ingots of the East India Company. The image will be about 90 mm in
diameter. If you wish to see an image, please mail me and I'll send one.
Many thanks.
Bruce Grant
