We currently charge for ILLs and are interested in the impact of removing these charges. I would be grateful if those of you that used to charge and decided to remove the charges could answer the following questions:
1. What was the general impact of removing the charges? How did this affect the service you provided, both positively and negatively?
2. How much, if at all, did the number of requests increase by? Did it increase more for certain groups over others, for example undergraduates?, staff?
3. Did you put in place any ways of limiting the number of requests, for example reducing the number of requests allowed per annum? Were there other limits you placed?
4. What was the impact on staffing? Did you require more staff hours?
