Hi Elizabeth (and others interested)
The Journal Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP - http://www.jusp.mimas.ac.uk) collects JR1 and JR1A (and JR1 GOA) data on a monthly basis at journal level for all participating publishers. At any point (monthly/quarterly/annually, whatever suits your workflow), you can log into JUSP to view your data broken down by month.
There are also a number of other reports to slice and dice the data in different ways such as including gateway and aggregators, excluding backfile and GOA usage, viewing longitudinal trends, viewing titles with highest use, viewing titles in certain usage ranges (e.g. nil use titles, very high use titles), usage on a deal basis (providing you keep your deal information in JUSP up-to-date), and more. For further information on the different types of reports please see: https://www.jusp.mimas.ac.uk/guides-to-reports/
JUSP works closely with participating publishers to ensure accuracy of data. The data is checked before being added to JUSP, and if data is re-released by publishers at a later date we make sure to notify all affected institutions in case they have previously downloaded data that has since been reinstated.
Hope this helps - if you have any questions please feel free to contact [log in to unmask]
Jo.
