Dear Kiyotomo, all,
actually, Felix’ suggestion is to reduce the number of abstracts from three to two. I think this also makes sense. It is unlikely that we will get more than two talks (I hope that 2013 was a “downward fluctuation", due to a very short instrumentation session), but there might be the possibility to get additional posters. But then, there is also the possibility to submit more specialized topics for a poster.
Cheers,
Frank

We can certainly give this a try - the only possibility I see other than the obvious "Detector R&D and Data Handling" is the topic “QCD and hadronic physics”, but the topics normally included there are quite different from what we have - alpha_s, PDFs, Jet physics, DIS, boson production and new hadron states / spectroscopy. I am not sure what the chances are to get something accepted in sessions other than Detector R&D.

Typically we’ve had one to two parallel talk (plus potentially posters) at this conference, which means that we should submit two or three summary-type abstracts rather than having individual submissions to ensure that in the end the full CALICE program will be covered at the conference.
