Hi Kate,
You could just enrol them as staff members to every course in their department and then they could use the student preview tool to view each course as a student.

Subject: Viewer access to courses
Dear all
One of the things that our institutional technology-enhanced learning committee have asked us to look into is allowing staff in a department to view all the Blackboard courses in their department as if they were a student.
Has anyone done anything like this? We don't really want to enroll them as students (because of the Grade Centre etc). We do have Blackboard Community so it may be that we can do something clever with hierarchies. If anyone has got a solution that they would be willing to share we would be very grateful.
Many thanks in advance
Kate W
