The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State
University invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Teaching
Fellowship in its Slavic Program beginning August 10, 2015.
The postdoctoral fellow is responsible for teaching courses that contribute
to the Slavic Program's curriculum and completing work related to their
research interests that will culminate in the presentation of a public
lecture.
Teaching load will be 2 courses per semester, and will include one
repeatable large-enrollment course and one graduate seminar in the spring
semester on a topic of the applicant's choosing.
Special consideration will be given to interdisciplinary seminars aimed to
serve graduate students across the modern languages and humanities
disciplines. Letters of application should include a brief research
statement that indicates how the research project to be undertaken during
the fellowship is open to interdisciplinary collaboration.
