3.1 Nesta launches the ‘Young Digital Makers Report’, taking stock and quantifying what is happening in the field of young people and digital making across the UK, and where the gaps remain. The report contains data from surveys of young people, their parents and teachers from across the UK - asking about attitudes and behaviours towards digital making.

4.5 The Academic Practice and Technology (APT) conference: Flipping the Institution: Higher Education in the Post Digital Age, Tuesday 7 July 201
This is the thirteenth annual conference hosted jointly by the University of Greenwich and the London School of Economics. It provides an opportunity for delegates and presenters to share, debate and explore the significant challenges for higher and post-compulsory education and training arising from these waves of rapid change in a post-digital age.

4.6 University of Southampton - Technology Enhanced Learning Conference 15 April 2015 
In order to kick off the University enhancement theme for 2015, ILIaD have organised a conference to encourage discussion and debate around education and research in Technology Enhanced Learning. 5. Calls for proposals

5.1 Call for Papers: The Second International Conference on Education Technologies and Computers (ICETC2015) Bangkok, Thailand 20-22 May 2015. 
The submission deadline for papers is 15 April 2015. All registered papers will be submitted for potential inclusion in IEEE Xplore, with selected papers to be published in journal special issues.

6. Funding calls

6.1 2015 UCISA bursaries launched - applications open until 4pm Thursday 2 April
UCISA has created another bursary scheme this year, which ALT colleagues are warmly invited to apply to. The aim of the bursary scheme is to give individuals from UCISA member institutions (www.ucisa.ac.uk/membersdirectory) the opportunity to go to an event they would not usually have the opportunity to attend, then disseminate what they have learnt to the UCISA community.
