Keynotes: Catherine Grant, Adrian Martin and Cristina Álvarez López.
3 panels on different aspects of adopting / using the AV essay across teaching and research contexts (more details and full schedule available on registration page)
Exploring the recent growth of the ‘audio-visual’ or ‘video’ essay as a mode of research within the Arts & Humanities, this UEA symposium comes at a key moment in the adoption of such approaches. Our keynotes and panellsts will offer their own perspectives and those of students who have been using AV work within assessments, to reveal the opportunities and the barriers that can be encountered when adopting the audio-visual essay.
For more information, please follow the registration link above, or contact Dr Sarah Godfrey ([log in to unmask]) and Dr Keith M. Johnston ([log in to unmask])
This symposium is supported by a University of East Anglia Teaching Fellowship.
