Subject: archiving webpages
Dear all,
I have a question regarding archiving webpages.
Researchers often cite webpages. To secure that the cited webpages will remain available in the future researchers archive them for example in WebCite. With respect to long-term preservation of research data the question raised if archiving in systems like WebCite is reliable and safe. What if such a service goes bankrupt, for example? We therefore look for "save" options we could recommend or offer to researchers.
I wonder what solution(s) other institutions recommend? Any comments and/or suggestions are welcome!
I would greatly appreciate any help!
Thank you,
Esther
