Yes I expect a shorter version for researchers is the right way to go,
in the style of our condensed DMP checklist flyer, once this new
checklist is finalised. Good to hear you think there's a demand for that.

Certainly a repository that has certification ought to sail through this
checklist, so I appreciate your concern with Q4 on sustaining the data's
value. I'll check the mapping of the upper levels of the checklist to
the DSA and ISO/DIN standards, and can see that it may need some tweaking.

I did refer to that work but it may not be clear enough that it does! I
condensed their 4 levels and broader criteria to those I thought that
the audience for this checklist would have a reasonable chance of
finding out from a repository's website. The NDSA work is great but I
believe requires more knowledge of a repository's preservation
capability than they are likely to publish. I'll take the hint though
and have another look at the mapping of checklist levels.
