The early bird rate for the Research Through Design conference has been extended to this Saturday, 7th February 2015. More information from the Conference Chairs, below:
The second Research Through Design (RTD) conference will be in Cambridge, UK from 25th to 27th March 2015. Be part of a new conference series that foregrounds the materiality of design research by placing its artefacts, practices and processes centre stage.
RTD 2015 includes a diverse three-day programme of work presented via an exhibition of artefacts from 34 high-quality research projects (from 223 peer-reviewed submissions) and round-table discussions in 'Rooms of Interest'. Discussion is further fuelled by 'Provocations' (plenary talks) during the conference from invited speakers - we are delighted to confirm Nelly Ben Hayoun, Sir Christopher Frayling, David Gauntlett and Amy Twigger Holroyd. Novel means of documenting the presented work and conference experience will also ensure that RTD 2015 discussions continue beyond the event itself.
The conference is modest in scale to promote inclusive and sustained discussion, which means places are limited so please register without delay:
