Qualitative Interviewing in Health Research: From design to publication
2 day workshop: 10th and 11th June 2015
The Institute of Health & Society at Newcastle University is pleased to announce a two day workshop to introduce those working in universities and in clinical roles to the processes and practices of qualitative interviewing in applied health research.
This friendly, interactive workshop will take researchers, new to qualitative interviewing, through all stages of the design, conduct and analysis. There will be lots of opportunities to discuss your own work or ideas, and to hear from other researchers about their experiences will be facilitated by experienced qualitative researchers: Professor Catherine Exley, Dr Katie Brittain and Dr Tim Rapley.
The workshop will take place on 10th and 11th June 2015 at Newcastle University, CPD Centre and the fee for attending the workshop is £360.

Feedback from last year's participants:
I've never been to a course with such a comfortable group & atmosphere! Use of real example of research was brilliant! Lots of tips taken!
The whole of the two days helped to give really practical examples as to how certain aspects of research could be carried out.
Gave me lots and lots to think about and new ways to approach problems/issues. I would thoroughly recommend it, even to those with qual experience!
As a newbie to qualitative research the course was very thought provoking, stimulating ideas and also provided me with avenues to explore and further my learning.
