Salary: £26,293 - £29,558
You will develop and deliver a strategy of digital development support to the 200+ accredited museums across the region which aligns with the work of the three Major Partner Museums in the South West on behalf of the SWMDP. You will administer the strategic Digital Advisory group which reports to the SWMDP Board and work with key regional and national stakeholders, Arts Council England, the Collections Trust, Association of Independent Museums etc to ensure regional initiatives maximise national opportunities and development support services in the region. The post holder will be responsible for identifying and developing clusters of museums as potential project participants with whom project income is secured to deliver a range of digital audience activities.
The post is funded through the Museum Development programme which is a national initiative funded by Arts Council England’s Renaissance programme that aims to deliver sustainability, resilience and innovation in England’s regional museums.
