Hello,
Do you catalogue websites (apart from e-books and e-journals) into your library catalogue, or do you enable access to them via a bookmarking service?
If websites ARE in your catalogue, what criteria do you apply for inclusion,
e.g.
strictly appearing on a reading list,
collection development,
endorsement, or
something else - please describe?
If they're NOT in your catalogue, why not?,
e.g.
searches cannot be restricted to website or e-resource, or
our catalogue only includes what we have in stock or subscribe to, or
they would congest the catalogue, or
another reason – please describe.
If you use a bookmarking service, how do you monitor/take statistics of its use?
Thank you for your advice which I will summarise for the list.
