I heard on Today Radio4 that the whole of the NHS in Greater Manchester is
to be devolved to the Greater Manchester Council with effect from April
2016, and that this will be announced in Parliament later this week.
Has anyone heard anything about this? Today didn't seem to have any details.
Can NHS England or Jeremy Hunt just decide to do this without primary
legislation, where is the Risk Analysis, and, seeing that the Greater
Manchester CCGs seem to have the lowest funding per weighted patient in the
country, http://www.hscic.gov.uk/6037 how will the budget be decided, now
and in the future?
