Dear Rob,
This is very important and challenge topic which I do be very interested in.
We are currently conducting an EU-funding FP7 project (2012-2016) in China entitled “INPAC- INtegrating Post-Abortion Family Planning Services into China’s existing abortion services in hospital settings”. One of the Work packages (WP7) aims to bridge the gap between research and policy, to translate the finding into the policy to enhance the equitable access to family planning services for all.
See our Project web-site: http://www.inpacproject.eu/ ;
And some of results can find at http://ec.europa.eu/research/health/public-health/public-health-and-health-systems/projects/inpac_en.html
Best wishes.

Dear list members,
I've been working on a project looking at how evidence is used in guideline development and policy reviews/briefs in China. A big topic I know!
Is their anyone on this list in China or from elsewhere who has worked in this area in China or can point to a place, person or organisation to start.
I have approached this using searching of databases and the web already, so it is the understanding of this particular region that is of interest.
Very happy to pool and share responses for the list after collating responses.
Best wishes
Rob
