Folks
I'm just looking across the sector at UG Dissertations.
Could I ask any Programme Leaders to give me a quick indication of word counts for standard written-format Dissertations, and their credit weighting?
eg. (Here at Plymouth)
Standard Dissertation (20 credits) = 8,000 words
Extended Dissertation (40 credits) = 12,000 words
Hopefully this is something that is quick to pop in a email.
If you have any other course figures to hand (Graphics, Illustration, Fine Art etc...) I'm happy to receive any numbers you can recall off the top of your head!
Maybe see some colleagues up in Sheffield at the GLAD conference later in the week.
Regards
Simon
