Dear experts,
I'm a new FSL user. I have resting-state fMRI data for a group of patients at baseline and after 2 years.
I would like to know if there are any changes in the default-mode network of these patients.
I've been reading the FSL website and posts.
I would like to do an ICA analysis and then dual regression.
I have 3 questions:
- should i preprocess the 2 time points with Melodic as if they were cross-sectional data and then feed the dual regression with a paired-t-test design to test for differences between baseline and follow-up?
Or is there any special preprocessing steps i should apply to the data given that my study is longitudinal and i am comparing the same patients at two time points?
- should i include the motion parameters that come out from mcflirt in melodic as covariates in the paired t-test that i will input to the dual regression analysis? or should this be done in another way?
- do you have any other suggestions that are important for my analysis?
Thank you
