Dear Dr Bergen-Aurand,
I would be more than happy to write a short entry on any one of the following subjects pertaining to queer cinema, which overlap with my research interests:
1. Hanif Kureishi (My Beautiful Laundrette, Sammy and Rosie Get Laid)
2. Queer Cinema in 80s Britain
3. Queer Indian Cinema
If you have a gap that might be filled by any of the subjects above, please contact me.
Best,
Dr Andreas Athanasiades,

Subject: CFP--Encyclopedia of Queer Cinema
Hello--
Andrew Grossman and I are developing an Encyclopedia of Queer Cinema for Rowman and Littlefield and seeking 2-3 contributors for short entries/articles on films, people, and concepts. Currently, we have five contributors but are especially in need of someone who can write about queer African and/or queer South American cinema in particular. However, we are also open to anyone who might fill other gaps we have.
If you might be interested in authoring signed, brief entries, please contact me directly.
All the best,
Brian Bergen-Aurand

Screen Bodies is a peer-reviewed journal focusing on the intersection of Screen Studies and Body Studies across disciplines, institutions, and media. It is a forum promoting the discussion of research and practices through articles, reviews, interviews, and notes investigating various aspects of embodiment on screens and in front of screens. The journal considers studies of moving and still images, such as cinema, television, the Internet, digital photography, portable and personal devices, and medical and surveillance imaging. The journal considers studies of the portrayal, function, and reception of the body, such as gender and sexuality studies, feminism and masculinity studies, trans* studies, queer theory, critical race theory, cyborg studies, and dis/ability studies.
