You’re right, Doug.
While well away from ‘poetry’ may I just share this below...?
drifting from pyrotechnics to pyromania...
[I'm watching out for wildfire news in the Aus media, it being January there]
From The Age (Melbourne) online:
Yesterday, 49-year-old Tatura woman Julie Ann Thumpston was questioned over suspicious fires on Tuesday and Friday and charged with 41 offences, including intentionally causing a bushfire and criminal damage caused by fire. She was refused bail by a Shepparton magistrate.
Police allege she lit 40 fires in Tatura area over the past 12 months, all on direct routes between her and her boyfriend's houses, all between midnight and 4am.
[So! these occurred over the past 12 months, and she got away with it all that time!]
