H and S ,RNIB will be helpful and will need to be involved of course, but also I received excellent help from Guide Dogs for the Blind. With a schools agreement they went in to the school (primary), and assessed the workplace... they even 'trained' the teachers and pupils with regards to dos and donts for the employee and her new guide dog ( and relatively new diagnosis of registered blind + return to work). The help they offered was invaluable.
All the best.

Dear All
I have been approached to support a visually impaired employee who will be getting a guide dog in the next few months. Have any Jisc colleagues any information to assist me in navigating the process, working with the building facilities team in a large office block, RNIB, H&S etc.
Most grateful for any advice or information from anyone who has already trodden this path.
Regards Debbie
