Hello all
You've probably seen this mentioned on here and elsewhere already but I'm
giving you a final nudge as the deadline for applying is coming up very
soon - midday 9th February 2015.
I’m helping Open Data Institute (ODI) and Nesta get the word out about
their latest Open Data Challenge
<http://www.nesta.org.uk/project/the-open-data-challenge-series>. They are
looking to incubate and support new ideas for Heritage and Culture services
or applications using, or based upon insight from, open data as part
of the Heritage
+ Culture challenge
<http://www.nesta.org.uk/heritage-culture-open-data-challenge>.
The best ideas submitted will be chosen to come along to a Creation Weekend
at the British Museum (28th February + 1st March 2015) where teams will
build and test their product or service, pitching to receive one of three
£5,000 prizes to incubate their project. At the end of the incubation
period, the Challenge winner will receive £50,000 equity-free funding to
further develop their product. View the full timetable.

*Do let me know if you have any further questions, I’d be very happy to
chat on the phone or via Skype/Facetime to go through any questions or
ideas you have about the Challenge or to help people navigate the
application process. *
If you’re able to, we’d really appreciate a tweet being sent out to spread
the word. Here’s a sample couple for you - feel free to edit:
