Happy New Year everyone
Does anybody market library services at doctors undergoing revalidation? How did you go about it?
My understanding of revalidation is that it is a requirement of GMC membership and was introduced in 2012 and must be repeated every 5 years. The GMC's Good medical practice framework for appraisal and revalidation<http://www.gmc-uk.org/The_Good_medical_practice_framework_for_appraisal_and_revalidation___DC5707.pdf_56235089.pdf> includes a requirement that doctors are able to demonstrate that they use the best available evidence to inform their practice. I was wondering if it would be worth using this to promote my library's literature search request service / critical appraisal training.
