Hi, does anyone currently do any fun exercises with students getting them to think about, when faced with a list of journal article results from a search, how to assess which ones might be relevant to their assignments and what criteria? So to quickly scan through a list and pick out relevant articles they might then want to read in full text (or if have been set to bring along a relevant article to a seminar)? I see a lot of students who struggle with filtering results and just go for the first couple on a list and then complain they are not relevant - I'd like a nice activity to incorporate into a general session to assist with this? Any ideas welcomed! Obviously, changing keywords and using database results filters are options to improve results, but I'm just wondering about the process of choosing a couple of articles from a results list? Thanks
