Hi Ted,
if you have already deleted the plist files ( the locations may be hidden on Finder, so you'll need to check with the Terminal ). Then you can run the following commands to delete any cached information about fslview:
defaults delete fslview
defaults delete uk.fmrib.ox.ac.fslview

When I try to open a file with FSLView, the file opener window gets massive in the vertical direction, with the top of it going well off of my screen. I can't resize it to the appropriate dimensions. As a result, no files are visible to select, and I can only cancel. This happens irrespective of which monitor I'm currently using and whether or not the second monitor is plugged in.
