Subject: Fwd: Call for Workshops: ADSHE Conference 2015 - Friday 19th June 2015
Presenters are invited to propose their workshop ideas for the annual ADSHE Conference 2015 - Friday 19th June 2015.
Workshops will be 1 hour and 15mins long and should follow one of two formats:
EITHER
• An interactive workshop where approximately 30-50% of the session. of the session is made up of designated activities
OR
• A presentation highlighting or demonstrating good practice in a specific area of our field (to include a Q and A session for approx. 15 minutes).
Please state which format you have chosen on application.
NB: Selected AT companies will be providing some hands-on Assistive Technology workshops this year so proposals for additional AT related workshops are not required.
Your proposal should include:
• the brief aim(s) of the session
• a brief outline of the proposed session and its overall structure – including how aims will be covered
• rough timings
• maximum numbers if preferred (25 is the standard minimum)
• who the session would be aimed at (experienced tutors, assessors, recently qualified tutors)
• whether or not you would be willing to repeat your session on the day if required
• resources required or to be used (including any equipment required – laptop, projector, flipchart, DVD facilities, speakers, etc.) If you are able to provide your own laptop, please indicate this. Connection cables can be provided by the venue
